A little about Upscale…
Upscale is a sales engagement platform that helps sales teams replace random prospecting processes with a structured and consistent approach. It is a connected workspace that makes revenue generation data-driven instead of intuition-based. Sales teams can engage with prospects using multiple channels like email, phone calls, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Voicemail, and more within a single workspace.
With actionable insights, one can minimize the effort of searching for the next best action and track activities leading to conversions. Upscale allows sales teams to always crush their revenue goals by replacing intuition and gut-feel with data-based decisions. We’re working on introducing sentimental analysis that will help in prioritizing and segmenting prospects based on email replies.
Sales Engagement was never fun before
Design System
As I began to dissect the sections on our application, I realized that we severely lacked the consistency, familiarity, and rigor that is believed to be a best practice for web/product design. Instead of a repeatable method for building pages and a library with reusable elements, developers were coming up with their own systems and creating brand new solutions, many of which were very similar, though not exact. It felt inconsistent for our users.
No Design system = disconnected User Experience
I established a design system and incorportated Google’s Material Symbols library for icons, created components for buttons, inputs, labels by maintaining an interactive and neutral palette across the app for maximum contrast accessibility.
Unfortunately, due to privacy reasons, I cannot get into the details of my work I'm doing at Upscale. But here's a brief.
Designing new features for the product
At Upscale, I have designed intuitive dashboards and workflow systems, defining interactions and micro-interactions. Defining a design system has helped us reuse many components and ship features in a shorter period. Every problem I worked on went through a rigorous design-agile process. With basic sketches in hand, I took them into wire blocking to get a general flow and feel through multiple rounds of testing and approval. This round helped solidify the modular design to ensure that information and purpose are easily accessible. Another high-fidelity round was designed to finesse the colors and design. With stakeholder approval in hand, I took it directly into prototyping, and eventually, the team incorporated the features in the product.

Apart from creating interactive onboarding frameworks, workflows, and intuitive dashboards; I worked on additional tasks during this time —
• Redesigned the company website with new illustrations and coded parts to attract more customers and get new leads.
